Marcel Wanders created MOOOI from a desire to give designers from around the globe a platform to create timeless, extraordinary beauty and unique objects. Bringing more than 30 years of experience as a designer to the brand, Marcel is involved in every way, serving as owner, art director and product designer. As product designer, his studio is located at the heart of Amsterdam. There, Marcel Wanders makes iconic playful signature designs that shape the companyâs direction and philosophy, ranging from lighting and furniture to accessories. His studio has worked with private clients and premium brands such as Alessi, Baccarat, Bisazza, Christofle, KosĂ© Corporation/ DecortĂ©, Louis Vuitton among scores of others. For MOOOI on its turn, Marcel oversees the complete MOOOI portfolio, the brandâs communication, retail and exhibitions design, amongst which is the yearly Salone del Mobile presentation in Milan.
