During Milan Design Week, from April 20 to April 26, 2026, Moooi presented Moooi 25 and Promising in collaboration with Superstudio Design. Returning to where it all began, Moooi presents a large-scale immersive installation at Superstudio Più, alongside Moooi Milan in the heart of the city.
Wrapped in silver – raw, rough and reflective – Moooi reveals a world where icons are reengineered, light becomes movement and imagination is propelled fearlessly forward. Across both locations, visitors encounter new designs, evolving icons and layered environments where material, technology and storytelling come together to shape extraordinary interiors.
NEW: PEAKS SOFA BY YVES BÉHAR
A modular seating landscape designed for comfort, play and human connection, Peaks Sofa transforms the traditional sofa into a flexible environment. Triangular dual-foam elements fold and shift, allowing configurations to evolve from flat lounging surfaces to sculptural backrests. Available as a Seater or a Lounger, Peaks Sofa adapts to different lifestyles and settings, whether designed for sitting, stretching or combining multiple pieces into a larger landscape. Upholstered in Vetta fabric, it is offered in both indoor and outdoor variants, making it equally suited to private interiors and public environments.
NEW: FUTURE FOSSILS BY KILIAN VOS WITH MOOOI CARPETS
Future Fossils imagines a world where digital life leaves behind its own archaeology. Created through generative CGI, the collection transforms algorithms into textured carpet designs resembling synthetic geology. Familiar yet otherworldly, these surfaces translate imagined mineral forms into tactile, contemporary landscapes.
NEW: MOMUMENTAL MOMENTS BY MOOOI WALLCOVERING WITH ARTE
Monumental Moments is a collection shaped by time, where raw materials and textured surfaces define a new tactile language for walls.
Within this world, Moooi’s extraordinary animals take on new material expressions. The Crown Mammoth stands with a bold, brutalist presence, Chromo Komodo shimmers with a reflective metallic skin, while Burl Moose reveals intricate wood grains through branching forms. Tiled Tortoise introduces rhythmic geometry and Ruffled Heron unfolds in layered textures alive with movement.
Each design translates these identities into material form. From embossed plaster and silver leaf to burl wood, paper tile and sculpted surfaces, these textures and materials shift with light and perspective.
The collection also introduces Anniversary Editions, where familiar designs return with renewed depth through material and detail. A celebration of texture, transformation and the beauty of reinvention.

PREVIEW: URCHINA LIGHT BY STUDIO RODERICK VOS
Inspired by the symmetry of sea urchins, Urchina Light forms a floating constellation of slender carbon rods, glowing gently at their tips. Expressive by day and atmospheric by night, the design balances a sculptural silhouette with a layered lighting experience – combining ambient glow and functional light in one evolving object.

PREVIEW: PUSH LIGHT BY PAUL COCKSEDGE
Push Light transforms a simple gesture into illumination. A curved sheet is pushed through a minimal ring, shaping a soft, reflective glow. Reduced to its essence – ring, sheet and light – the design creates atmosphere through reflection, balance and an elegant sense of motion.

PREVIEW: MESHMATICS WALL & CEILING BY RICK TEGELAAR
The Meshmatics family expands into architectural lighting with new Wall and Ceiling variations. Crafted from shaped steel wire netting, the layered mesh structure diffuses light into soft, ambient glows or brighter outputs depending on configuration – extending the design into residential and contract environments. Available in two sizes (34 cm and 47 cm) and two configurations: a single basket (small) and double basket (medium) for each Wall and Ceiling products

PREVIEW: PINO TREE BY ANDRÉS REISINGER
Pino Tree introduces a luminous, kinetic presence that blurs the line between ritual object and digital imagination. Presented as part of a forest installation at Superstudio, rotating illuminated trees create a surreal landscape of movement and light – transforming space into a living, breathing environment.

PREVIEW: MOOOI ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING WITH INTRA LIGHTING
Looking beyond the present, Moooi introduces Moooi Architectural Lighting, its first architectural lighting collection developed in collaboration with Intra Lighting. Presented as a preview at Superstudio, the collection offers a glimpse into a new direction for Moooi.
Moooi Architectural Lighting expands the brand’s universe from expressive objects to integrated lighting systems, bridging architectural precision with decorative design. It marks the beginning of a new chapter, where lighting becomes part of a larger spatial language.

PREVIEW: ROYAL DELFT XL EGG VASE
To celebrate Moooi’s twenty-five-year anniversary, Royal Delft presents an XL edition of Marcel Wanders’ iconic Egg Vase. Handcrafted in Delft since 1653, the piece amplifies the original’s soft, sculptural form, inspired by stacked eggs, into a bold version.
Larger in scale and richer in finish, Egg Vase XL highlights the craftsmanship of Royal Delft while reimagining a Moooi classic for this milestone moment.

REINTRODUCTION: PAPER CHANDELIER 2.0 BY STUDIO JOB
One of Moooi’s earliest icons returns, reimagined through contemporary technology. Paper Chandelier 2.0 combines its familiar paper exterior with a 3D-printed internal structure and integrated LED lighting. Available in multiple sizes and a special silver edition, the design bridges past and future in celebration of Moooi’s anniversary.

REINTRODUCTION: COMMON COMRADES BY NERI AND HU
Common Comrades returns with a renewed material expression in carbonized bamboo. Rooted in simplicity and function, the collection of side tables balances traditional craftsmanship with contemporary durability, offering a refined and enduring presence.

25 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TAPESTRY BY MART VELDHUIS
To mark Moooi’s twenty-five-year milestone, Dutch artist Mart Veldhuis created a monumental anniversary tapestry celebrating the brand’s visual universe. Known for his rhythmic, narrative illustration style, Veldhuis translates Moooi’s history into a dense composition woven with detail and symbolism.
From a distance, the tapestry reads as a bold graphic landscape. Up close, it reveals layers of references to Moooi’s iconic designs and moments over the past twenty-five years. Making its debut during Milan Design Week 2026, the work captures Moooi’s story as a living, evolving narrative with future interpretations already in motion.

MOOOI WEER: BEAUTIFUL AGAIN WITH LIDEWIJ EDELKOORT
Moooi Weer, meaning ‘beautiful again’, returns as a celebration of renewal, inviting a fresh perspective on objects from the past. Developed with trend forecaster Lidewij Edelkoort, this year introduces Tin Age, a matte metallic hue inspired by tin, rooted in industrial origins and reimagined for today.
Applied as a paint, Tin Age transforms existing objects from vintage finds to iconic Moooi designs into something beautifully new again. Presented during Milan Design Week 2026, the project reflects Moooi’s belief that design is never static, but continuously evolving and reinterpreted.
