For our first participation, we are proud to present an installation designed in collaboration with Ste Marie. Responding to IDS’s 2026 theme, How We Work, the transportive space reflects on the changing nature of work in an increasingly remote and hybrid world – where boundaries between home, office, and social spaces continue to blur.
Peaks Sofa by Yves Béhar
At IDS Toronto 2026, Moooi unveils Peaks Sofa by Yves Béhar – a modular sofa that highlights comfort and connection. Born from a longing for togetherness during isolation, Peaks Sofa transforms effortlessly through dual-foam triangles that fold up or down, creating infinite landscapes for lounging, conversation or play. Crafted in weatherproof Vetta fabric, it thrives both indoors and out, adapting seamlessly from home to hospitality.
Linked by hidden hinges and invisible zippers, each module expands like a living topography – soft, sculptural and endlessly configurable. Inspired by the balance of opposing forces, Peaks Sofa merges the tactile warmth of human touch with the geometry of design memory. More than a sofa, it’s a platform for shared moments and creative freedom, perfectly embodying Moooi’s vision of A Life Extraordinary.
Haybale Lounge Chair with Footstool by Nicholas Baker
Moooi presents Haybale Lounge Chair with Footstool by Nicholas Baker – a modern design rooted in rural memory. Drawing from the familiar sight of stacked hay bales, Baker transforms this humble inspiration into a sculptural icon of softness and strength. Plush, quilted cushions are cinched with bold industrial straps, balancing nostalgia with innovation.
Crafted in Bouclé, Spectrum Leather or Signature Wabi Sabi fabric, each Haybale evolves beautifully over time, gaining depth and character. Its modular nature invites both play and relaxation, creating flexible comfort for contemporary living.
