Step 1 – Design Intake
Every room starts with a conversation.
Your design journey begins with a structured intake, either in-person at the
Moooi Amsterdam (recommended) or online. Together, we explore the space and its purpose, your personal style, budget range and the practical realities of the room.
Listening comes first. Design follows.
Step 2 – Floorplan
A room needs balance before it needs beauty.
You will receive one professionally developed 2D floor plan. An optimised layout that defines flow, placement and proportion. Furniture and lighting find their natural place and the space starts to make sense.

Step 3 – Moodboard
Atmosphere gives a space its soul.
Your curated moodboard sets the visual direction of the room. Colour, material and form come together to express the story you want the space to tell. This is where feeling meets structure.

Everything connects at this point.
You receive a holistic design proposal that brings colour, furniture, materials, lighting and styling into one cohesive vision. A finalised palette with carefully selected pieces and finishes that elevate the room. Styling guidance that adds balance and character.
